Vegan French Toast Casserole

Vegan french toast casserole is an easy-to-make morning breakfast! Pieces of french bread are covered in a homemade vegan custard, topped with a candied pecan crumble and baked to perfection! Enjoy this baked french toast right away or refrigerate it overnight and bake it the next morning.

Make the custard and cut the French bread loaf into cubes. Add the cubes to a casserole dish.

Step 1:

Pour the custard over the bread cubes to evenly coat them.

Step 2:

Make the candied pecan crumble then evenly sprinkle it across the top of the bread pieces.

Step 3:

Bake at 350ºF for  40-50 minutes. Top with powdered sugar just before serving.

Step 4:

For a simple weekend breakfast, serve this baked French toast with powdered sugar and maple syrup.
