Vegan Tofu Ground Beef

This tofu ground beef is easy to make, perfectly seasoned, and cooks up with a texture similar to ground beef. Add it to pasta sauces or use it as a ground beef substitute in your favorite recipe. It quickly comes together using common pantry staples for an easy weeknight meal. 

Ingredients You'll Need

Press the tofu to drain off some excess liquid.  In a large bowl, crumble the tofu into small pieces with your hands.

In a small bowl, mix together the seasoning paste ingredients.

Add the seasoning paste to the bowl of tofu crumbles.

Step 3

Mix everything together until the tofu is evenly covered in the seasonings.

Step 4

Spread the crumbles out on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Step 5

Bake at 350ºF for 20-30 minutes. Periodically check to see if the top is browning. If so, mix the crumbles around the pan to evenly cook them.
